Due to rules in their countries about their age of eligibility for adoption, their status as part of a sibling group, health circumstances or various other issues...these kids are DANGEROUSLY CLOSE to spending the rest of their lives without ever knowing the love of a mom or dad.

Are you willing to ASK God

if maybe He's calling YOU to

live outside the box???

"We saw Masha today and were playing peek a boo with her and laughing with her etc. Oh my gosh the doctors from the institution were there to give her a physical for her transfer to the institution."

Boy, Born 2002
Oh, how this little boy melts my heart!  Just look at his smile!  He is very high functioning, and will do very well in a lvoing family environment.  He has been blessed to grow up in a baby house and privately run home for children with special needs, and he has been LOVED.  He has many advocates and volunteers who love him dearly, and have asked us to please help him find a family! It is possible he has Mosaic Down syndrome.   We are waiting on his full medical records.   But he is very healthy, active, social…just a love!!
From his caregivers and friends:   “Expectant parents need to prepare for Maxim difficulties and learn to accept it for what it is: hooligan, a little jealous, but very good-natured and charming.   Maxim respectable hoodlum, may, for example, to climb into adult shoes (larger size, the merrier) and enthusiastically stomping down the corridor until you catch up.   Loves to joke.    In its immediacy and sunny smile forgiven all hooliganism.   Given his state of health, Maxim has good prospects for further development.   He can not speak, but communicates well with the world through gestures and some of the sounds, knows the names of colors and geometric shapes, animal names, colors, fruits and vegetables, loves to play around with toys, loves being read poems and fairy tales.  Maxim is very housewifely, helps with cleaning.   He needs a home where it will and will love.   And it isimpossible not to love.

Girl, Born October 26, 2005
Sonya is a beautiful 5 year old girl who  needs a family quickly.   She does have a heart condition, so she should see a cardiologist once home. She is able to walk and likes to play with balls and other toys.  She can be so much more!!  This orphanage has a history of medicating the children, so many of them look sleepy and zoned out in their photos.  It is imperative to find families for all of these children quickly. From one of our adoptive families who visited with her in December 2010: "Sonya was adorable and VERY smart. She was sweet and immediately crawled up to me. She and her Nanny played and sang songs. She would smile so BIG when the Nanny would rub their palms together (part of the song). She was also counting and Sonya would put down her fingers as the nanny said the numbers!!   She followed directions and came when she was called. She was playing with the small stacking rings and was doing very well lining up the small holes. She would wrinkle her nose as she was trying.  The nanny really seemed to dote on her. I can't imagine her being transfered and losing this play time together. When she was leaving she crawled straight up to Yuri to check him out and then crawled to her Nanny who was calling her name. We waved and said "paka" and she smiled and waived!! Oh my heart!! She is a cutie pie and needs a family!! " MORE PHOTOS AVAILABLE

This is Peyton (not real name). He is 4 years old. He has beautiful brown eyes and dimples. He is HIV+ and healthy. It is important that a family is found for him soon because at five years of age he will be transferred to another institution. It is vital to adopt children out of this particular Eastern European country prior to the age of five because their risk of being placed into an institution that they cannot be released from is great. Currently Peyton resides in an attentive orphanage with an adoption friendly court system. Contact Traci at figs@projecthopeful.org for more info.

I can not even express to you how blessed this child is to still be her baby house.  She needs to be adopted IMMEDIATELY.   She can be adopted with Sophia and/or Shawna, who all desperately need families.
Lindsay is a beautiful girl who has endured much in her ilfe in this orphanage. She was born with a secondary heart condition, although it may have rectified itself. She is considered severely delayed, and is working on her walking, even though sbhe is already 6 years old. This orphanage has a history of medicating the children, so she has spent much of her life in a crib, repressed….Lindsay desperately needs a family who has experience adopting older children with special needs, and who has the time to give her to help her recover from this neglect and blossom into the child she is meant to be. More photos available. She is facing the institution very soon, and is blessed to still be at the baby house. Someone please save her. From an adoptive family who visited with her in January 2011:  "  She was sitting at a little table with Sophia. I think they were having their snack. She had this rattle which makes the most amazingly loud sound, I know because my boys got to play with one just like it. She didn't make noise with it but instead was checking it out so carefully. She would put the end of the handle in between her teeth and watch the little bells roll back and forth. She is such a beauty! I didn't recognize her at first because the other picture looks nothing like her. She has beautiful blonde wavy hair and blue eyes. Her and Sophia were buds and I think would make great sisters! Surely her Momma and Daddy are out there. "

His muscles are very tight, and he will need significant amounts of therapy. He is not able to sit by himself, and is dependent on his care givers for just about everything. It's too bad he didn't smile for the camera, because Cole has an impish smile and is very helpful and sweet.  He was born HIV+ and turned 5 years old this past spring. He's fortunate to be in a good orphanage, although they'll transfer him this spring if he doesn't find a family.  From a family who met him this past summer:  He is the oldest of the boys still there, so the most at risk for being transferred. He seems very smart. He was what I call the "orphanage helper". He was always helping the ladies push the strollers full of laundry back and forth from the laundry house and always helping the groundskeepers sweep and pick up sticks, etc.

Little Constance is already 4 and facing the institution.   One of our own adoptive families was blessed to have met her during their own adoption visit, so we have multiple photos of her and hope we can find a family for her! From our adoptive family who visited with her in November 2010:  " Constance was  a sweet girl, she came up to me, sat next to me on the floor, and got closer and closer until she was in my lap.   She sat in my lap so sweetly holding my hand for a long time.   She is a small girl… before I knew her age I thought she was two years old.   She played well in her groupa…. the caregivers(nannies) for this groupa are wonderful, they love the children, teach the children, and take good care of them.  She is in a loving environment now but will be transferred soon.  It breaks my heart, I wish I could go back and get her.  She is too sweet for words."

You’d think Inna was Armenian, but she isn’t!  :)    Gorgeous girl with dark hair and deep, dark eyes.  She was born with club feet and congenital hip dysplasia.  She does have FAS, we are working to learn if she has any learning delays.  Beautiful girl who so desperately needs a loving family surgery for her feet, and the encouragement she needs to be the best she can!

Shawna has grown so much since her last photo! She is walking now, very social and affectionate. She has already turned 6 and is facing imminent institutionalization. She is healthy, but is considered severely delayed. PLEASE give Shawna a chance to be everything she can be, in a loving family who supports her and encourages her to grow and learn. From one of our adoptive families who visited with her in December 2010:  She was absolutely cute and got up to pose for the camera, she would make faces, smile and then laugh after the flash went off. She was very adorable but like many of the others was wearing a sheet as a diaper. She will be a blessing to any family. She was full of life, laughter and happiness not to mention beautiful!!
